Is it wrong of me to always look for the best in people? I would like to believe that everyone is capable of change, of becoming better. We all have had a past we are not proud of, we all have grown from ignorance.
I reflect on my past actions and I ask myself why I ever held those beliefs or perceptions. There are quite a number of aspects of my past life that I question, but overall, I’m content with the fact that I’ve grown beyond all of it.
Now, there’s also the consideration of all perspectives when it comes to a person’s motifs. We all have different purposes and intentions behind the actions we take, and I choose to believe that people don’t necessarily choose bad, it possibly could just be because they’re oblivious to it. The possibilities continue, and until there is absolutely no hope of goodness left will i give up the ideology of looking towards the best in them.
"Hit me my thesis is due in 12 hours and I haven’t started it"
"Hit me I have a final in an hour and I didn’t study"
"Hit me I’ve been on a 24 hour drinking binge and I’m invincible"
"Hit me. You’re a university vehicle and I’ll get free tuition."
"Hit me I feel like a failure anyway"
